Delegated decision: Refused · Leah Wright
Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed erection of rear extension to facilitate the creation of 1 residential unit is considered
unacceptable as the western facing habitable room windows would fail to establish at least 9
metres of outlook within their own demises, thus burdening the neighbouring land parcel with the
need to provide an 18 metre privacy buffer entirely within its own demise. It would therefore by
contrary to Policy DMP1 of the Development Management Policies and the principles as stated in
SPD1 (2018).
