Delegated decision: Refused · Liam McFadden
Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The subject extension by reason of unsympathetic design and poor quality materials in this
prominent location results in an extension which fails to respect or relate to the host building or
the local context. Furthermore, it results in the loss of designated Open Space without mitigation
or justification to demonstrate that any community benefits of the extension outweigh the harm. It
would therefore be contrary to Policies D4, G4 and S1 of The London Plan (2021), Policy CP18 of
the Core Strategy (2018), DMP1 of the Development Management Policies (2016) and policy BSI1
of Brent's Draft Local Plan 2020.
