Delegated decision: Refused · Michele Katzler
Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed telecommunications mast due to its height, width, design and materials, and siting
in close proximity to residences and in a suburban residential area, constitutes an obtrusive and
incongruous feature that fails to complement the character or context of the locality, and which
detracts from the attractive qualities of the streetscene, contrary to section 12 of the NPPF
(2021), Brent Core Strategy CP17 (2010), and Policies DMP1 - General Planning Policy- of Brent
Development Management Policies (2016).
