Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed extensions, by reason of their cumulative siting, design, size, height, scale
and massing, would result in disproportionate additions to the original dwelling which
would appear over-dominant and visually incongruous in relation to the host dwelling
and its semi-detached pair. The development would therefore be contrary to Policy D3
of the London Plan (2021), Policies 6 and 37 of the Bromley Local Plan (2019) and the
principles of the Bromley Urban Design SPD (2023).
