Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed development, by reason of the insufficient gross internal area of
Units 2, 3 and 4, the contrived layout of Unit 4, and the lack of private amenity space
for Units 1, 3 and 4, would cumulatively result in a cramped form of accommodation
that would fail to provide an adequate standard and quality of accommodation, to the
detriment of the living conditions of future occupants. As such, the proposal is
contrary to Policy D6 of the London Plan (2021) and Policies 3.5 and 7D of the Ealing
Development Management Plan (2013).
