Delegated decision: Refused · Oliver Ramsay
Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed development, by reason of the minimum space standard not
being met for Flat 1 and both Flat 1 and Flat 2 failing to meet the minimum
required space standards for living, dining and kitchen areas would result in poor
quality of accommodation for the future occupants. No sectional drawings have
been provided to demonstrate the minimum headroom requirement of 2.5m for
at least 75% of the GIA would be provided. As such, the proposal would result in
poor quality of accommodation for the future occupants, failing to comply with
the objectives of Policy D6 of the London Plan (2021), policies 3.5 and 7B of the
Ealing Development Management DPD (2013), Housing Design Standards LPG
(2023) and Ealing Draft Local Plan (Regulation 22).
2
The proposed development, due to its failure to provide adequate waste
and recycling facilities. The proposal therefore fails to comply with Policy SI 7 of
the London Plan (2021).
