its prominent corner location, design, width, scale and mass, would be
unsympathetic to the scale and character of the host dwelling, to the detriment of
its character and appearance, and be out of keeping with the semi-detached
pattern of development, resulting harm to visual amenities of the Danemead
Grove. As such, the proposal is contrary policies D3 and D4 of the London Plan
(2021), policies 7.4 and 7B of the Ealing Development Management DPD (2013),
policy DAA of Ealing's draft new Local Plan (Regulation 22) and the Ealing
Housing Design Guidance 2022.
