The proposed two storey side/rear extension, by way of its mass and bulk,
fenestration and siting, would represent an incongruous form of development
which would be at odds with the host dwellinghouse.
The cumulative impact of the proposed extensions in conjunction with its
contemporary design would dilute the site's original character and would appear
out of keeping with the nature of the surrounding area.
As such, it is considered that the proposal fails to comply with the objectives of
the policies D3 and D4 of the London Plan (2021), policies 7B and 7.4 of the
Ealing Development Management DPD (2013).
