floor space without adequate evidence to justify such a loss would result in a
detrimental impact to the supply of commercial floorspace within this area and
the borough generally. As such, the proposed development is contrary to policy
4.1 (Developing London's Economy) of the London Plan, policies 16
(Employment Opportunities), 17 (Economic Development), and 18 (Promoting
Employment Land) of the Hackney Local Development Framework Core
Strategy 2010, and policy DM14 (Retention of Employment Land and
Floorspace) of the Hackney Development Management Local Plan.
