Application
What is it?
Alteration and diversion of rainwated downpipes at the rear of the property to a new rainwater attenuation tank installed on small a concrete pad in the rear garden adjancent to the party garden wall. The attenuation tank outlet to drain into a ground drain to be directed across the garden and dropped down to the basement outlet. This attenuation solution which has been designed by an engineer is to adress periodic flooding from extreme rainfall events. The system as designed will attenuate the release of rainwater into the main drain to mitigate the flooding risk. The tank will be enclosed in a trellis and hidden behind planting.
