T1 - Eucalyptus - reduce crown to points of previous reduction (2m-2.5m branch length removal) Reason - this is regular, routine maintenance of a tree located in close proximity to the building and the public highway, required to prevent excessive water uptake and to remove possibility of branches failing, whilst retaining the amenity and aesthetic value of the tree in this prominent location

T1 Mulberry - reduce crown to points of previous reduction (1-2m branch removal). This is routine maintenance and can be considered good arboricutural practise T2 - Robinia - Fell. This tree has extensive decay along the length of one of its main stems (see photographs taken in 2022). This decay was examined when the tree was last pruned and the structural integrity of the stem is of concern as the tree continues to grow, increasing branch and wind loading on the stem. The location of the tree close to the public highway means that retention of a potentially dangerous stem would be inadvisable. Removal of this stem would negatively affect the appearance of the tree, and create a large wound which would inevitably lead to further decay, therefore it is proposed to fell and replace the tree with a native species such as Hornbeam or Silver Birch
