Delegated decision: Refused · Frederica Cooney
Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
Insufficient details have been submitted to allow the City Council to assess the noise impact
of the air conditioning plant and the proposed acoustic enclosure . This means that the plant
could cause a noise nuisance to the people living in neighbouring properties. This would not
meet policies S29 and S32 of Westminster's City Plan (November 2016) and ENV 5 and ENV
6 of our Unitary Development Plan that we adopted in January 2007.
2
Because of the detailed design and size, the acoustic enclosure would harm the appearance
of this building and this part of the City. This would not meet policies S25 and S28 of
Westminster's City Plan (November 2016) and DES 1, DES 5 and DES 9 of our Unitary
Development Plan that we adopted in January 2007. (X16BC)
