Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed opening hours would be inappropriate in this location and would add to late-night
activity and disturbance, harming the character and function of the area, the quality of the area's
environment and would increase levels of noise disturbance and cause late night disturbance for the
community in the area, including nearby residents on the upper floors of neighbouring properties on
Eccleston Street, harming residential amenity at particularly noise senstive hours. This would not meet
Policies 7, 18, 20, 37 and 42(C) of Westminster's City Plan 2019 - 2040 (January 2026).
