Why it was refused

Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed development in addition to the existing extensions by reason of their size, scale, bulk. depth and design would cumulatively result in an overly dominant, disproportionate, incongruous, visually obtrusive and unsympathetic additions to the existing dwellinghouse detrimental to the character and appearance of the host property and the surrounding area. The proposal would therefore be contrary to Policy D3 of the London Plan (2021), policies CDH01 and CDH05 of the Barnet Local Plan(2025), the principles of the National Planning Policy Framework (2025) and the Residential Design Guidance SPD (2016).
