Why it was refused
Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed cycle shed by virtue of its size, design and appearance would appear
incongruous and out of place in the front garden and therefore fail to respect the
character and appearance of the existing front boundary and garden of the host
building and conservation area. As such, the development is considered contrary to
the requirements of Policy D1 (Design) and Policy D2 (Heritage) of the Camden
Local Plan 2017 and Policy DH1 (Design) and DH2 (Conservation Area) of the
Hampstead Neighbourhood Plan 2025.
