Why it was refused

Reason
As stated on the decision notice
1
The proposed replacement windows and front door, by reason of their detailing and lack of sufficient information, would fail to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the conservation area. Specifically, Lambeth Planning Telephone 020 7926 1180 PO Box 80771 www.lambeth.gov.uk London planning@lambeth.gov.uk SW2 9QQ REFULZ the use of applied glazing bars, externally visible trickle vents, inappropriate inclusion of horns, and insufficient sectional drawings demonstrating the visibility of sash boxes and replication of slender joinery, result in a proposal that does not respect the architectural integrity of the building or its setting. The omission of potential heritage enhancements further undermines the scheme. As such, the proposal is contrary to Policies Q5, Q11, and Q22 of the Local Plan (2021)
