Removal of two trees causing issues with the property. We have recently moved in and need to remove a laurel tree at the front of the property. It is causing the front wall to collapse and the roots are lifting / damaging the drains. Some neighbours have been asking for this tree to be removed as it is hazardous. This is listed on the sketch as (1). We are concerned we need to remove this urgently to prevent the front garden wall collapsing. The other tree is a cypress tree located very close to the back wall of the house (around 3m). It is now growing back into the property and causing issues. Given the other mature trees in our and surrounding gardens, I do not believe this tree is visible to most neighbours. This is listed on the sketch plan as (2). Having just bought the house we will be renovating, including landscaping the garden / planting of new shrubs / trees in due course. We need to get these removed more urgently to prevent further damage to the property.

Apple tree in poor condition. Base of trunk is situated on 66 Muswell Road side of boundary. However trunk is leaning heavily towards 68 Muswell Road and majority of the tree is on 68 Muswell Road side of boundary. Proposed works are to fell all sections of tree that cross 68 Muswell Road side of boundary. See Supporting Doc 002 which clearly shows boundary line. Apple tree is in poor condition, signs that large sections of it are dead and could pose health risk should it continue to lean further and subsequently fall (68 Muswell Road have young children and dog). Works would effectively reduce the tree to just leave lower section of trunk (approx. 1.5m - 2.0m tall) as this is the only section which remains on 66 Muswell Road side of boundary.
