Five Day Notice. T1: Willow: Approximately 12.00m. Sadly this tree has suffered an almost total crown dieback this year. It is extremely unlikely that the tree will fully recover. Some indicative signs of early bark loss and Honey Fungus infection were noted at ground level. The tree has a very large decay pocket at approximately 2.20m above ground level. This cavity was likely initiated by the removal of a large low limb many years ago. The decay at this crucial section of the main stem will continue to decay even if the tree manages limited recovery. The tree will become increasingly hazardous. Considering the tree's current condition and its proximity to the building, it would certainly be prudent to remove it at this juncture.
